About The Artist
I'm Vicki Maree, the person who makes the art you see at Vicki Maree Creative.
I'm based in Newcastle, NSW. I create these pieces because I have a disability, and art is what I do. It’s a necessary part of my life, a way to focus and work with my condition. This isn't a hobby... it’s how I produce original work.
What I Make
I make and paint every piece myself. You are buying a one-off item, painted by my hand.
My work falls into two categories:

Original Wall Pieces: This includes my Artworks and Framed Collages. You'll see local influences, like the Newcastle coastline, as well as abstract and geometric patterns.

Functional Items: This is art applied to things you can actually use. I paint Serving Boards, Lazy Susans, and Cheese Knife Sets. They are finished to be durable, and they are unique... you won't find them in a standard store.
When you buy here, you are supporting a small Australian artist directly. You are getting a genuine piece of art made by a disabled artist working from her home in Newcastle.
